Description
Acacia, Mansonia altissima, is native to Cameroon and has a heartwood that tends to be a yellowish or grayish brown. It’s very durable and resistant to decay and insect attack, as well as having good outdoor weathering properties. Easy to work with both hand and machine tools, it glues, turns, and finishes well, along with having good steam bending properties. Each pack contains a minimum of 5 boards and 6-1/2 board feet. Boards vary between 3-1/2” to 10” wide and 3’ to 4’ long, and all are surfaced to 15/16”.
