Woodpeckers has been focused on woodworking tools since we opened our doors in 1988. After years of demonstrating tools at woodworking shows across the country, we began manufacturing our own router tables and mounting plates in 1993. What started with a few routers and a small product line has grown into a full manufacturing operation in Strongsville, Ohio, producing precision measuring and layout tools, router lifts and fences, clamping systems, drilling accessories, jigs, fixtures, and more.
From Engineering to the Shipping Box
Our engineers, machinists, assemblers, inspectors, and shipping team all work under one roof, giving us close control over every step from design and machining to inspection and packing. That connection between engineering and the shop floor lets us develop, test, refine, and manufacture practical solutions right here in Ohio. We’re proud our tools are made in the USA, but even more proud of what that allows us to build: thoughtfully engineered tools designed to solve real problems in the woodworking shop.
We Don’t Just Machine for Accuracy. We Verify It.
Precision machining is only part of the process. We verify that our tools meet the standards they were designed to achieve. Every Woodpeckers precision square, for example, is CNC inspected with a high-end vision system to confirm perpendicularity and scale accuracy to within thousandths of an inch per foot. That may exceed what most woodworking operations demand, but when you use one of our tools as a reference, we want you to be able to trust the measurement, the setup, and the work that follows.
