Some folks find the radiused profiles easier to use, but the straight edge really shines when forming shoulders on tenons. In our diamond-shaped “detail” inserts we offer two options – full sharp and radius. The radius detail insert allows you to create fine beads and coves just by working the tool back and forth…no complicated “rolling beads” or “scooping coves”. The full sharp insert takes the word “detail” to a whole new meaning.
