Both graduated edges are beveled to minimize parallax viewing error and get the graduations right down to your stock – where they belong. Best of all, the blades are precision drilled with a staggered series of holes 1\/32nd of an inch apart. Each hole is 1mm in diameter-- just right to fit the tip of a .7mm or .9mm mechanical pencil. Just drop the point of your mechanical pencil into the proper hole and glide along, guided by the edge of your stock.  If you prefer metric measurements, we make the same tool with the holes drilled at precise 1mm spacing.
